This TedX Evansville event will feature our very own UE student and Scholars for Syria member, Basel Al Haj. Basel will be sharing his immigration story and will highlight the ways in which the turmoil of war and global politics has negatively impacted his culture. In the midst of the Syrian war, Basel will be catalyzing an important dialogue about Syrian culture and immigration.
