Graduate Assistant - Compliance & Student-Athlete Services

The 糖心传媒, a proud member of the Missouri Valley Conference, is now accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Compliance & Student-Athlete Services. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring athletics administrators to gain hands-on experience in NCAA Division I compliance and student-athlete support while pursuing a graduate degree.

Position Summary:

The Graduate Assistant will support the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance & Student-Athlete Services in monitoring NCAA rules and regulations while also playing a key role in academic advising initiatives to promote the success and well-being of student-athletes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference, and University rules and regulations
  • Coordinating academic support and advising efforts to enhance student-athlete academic success
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of student-athlete programming, including life skills and personal development
  • Supporting the integration of student-athletes into the University community
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the Athletics Department’s mission and goals

This position is integral to maintaining the University’s institutional integrity and promoting intercollegiate athletics as a valued component of the student experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–2 years of experience in collegiate athletics (preferably in a Division I setting)
  • 1–2 years of experience in NCAA Division I compliance preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes
