Design & Innovation Training Studio
Funded through Driving Possibilities, the new 糖心传媒 Design & Innovation Training Studio will serve as a hub for STEM experiences and training for students, teachers, administrators, support staff, college students, and community members.

Field Trips
- STEM Experience in the Design & Innovation Training Studio (1.5 hr - 3 hr)
- One focused activity or multiple activities with stations
- Add Chemistry Club Outreach Experiment Session (+ 1-2 hr)
- DP Schools can add classroom visit for prep skills beforehand (times vary)
Technology Training Professional Development
- June 26! 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
- 3 Hr, Half, or Full Day on UE Campus in Design & Innovation Training Studio
- A few hours after school at DP School
- Technology intro or extra help lesson at DP School
Open Lab and Events
- Spend additional free time working with technologies
- Free tutoring
- Community Events - students are encouraged to bring their families
School/Classroom/Site Visits
- D&I Training Studio School/Classroom Visits for DP Schools Only (at this time)
- STEM Coordinator determines activity based on location, ages, and number of students
- Can be individual STEM class, entire grade, or multiple grades
- Non-DP Schools
- Chemistry Club Outreach Changelab can visit your school!
- Mobile Innovation Lab can visit any school and join for the above visits!
Classroom Lesson Enrichment
- Are your students struggling with a specific topic, learning objective, or standard?
- Explore real world and technology application & integration through career connection
- Debunk difficult topics and create tangible understanding
- Schedule a consultation with STEM Coordinator to apply the DIS technologies in your school building to these lessons
Tech Class and Honors Contracting
- EDUC 265 - Roles & Applications of Technology in Education
- Technology integration projects can be added to class assignments to receive Honors Program credit when arranged with professor before add/drop period
Open Labs and Events
- Spend additional free time working with technologies
- Free tutoring
- Community Events - invite us to bring STEM to your community event!
- DIS students are encouraged to teach their families & show off their skills
- UE STEM & Ed Students 3D printing for assignments, competitions, and final projects
