There are several types of loans available to assist students, whether you are a dependent, independent, undergraduate, or graduate student. There are also loans to help parents of dependent students with paying for college. Refer to your specific Cost of Attendance (COA) to determine the maximum amount of loan funds you may borrow for the year. Your total financial aid including student and parent loans cannot exceed your COA.

Loan proceeds will be credited directly to your UE student account at the beginning of each semester along with your other financial aid. After your University charges for tuition, mandatory fees, and room and meal plan (if on campus) have been satisfied, any amount remaining as a credit on the account will be refunded to you each semester.
