Global Scholars 2024 - 2025
The Center for Innovation & Change is pleased to announce the Global Scholars for the 2024-25 academic year.
Congratulations to:

- Dr. Vincent Campese, Assistant Professor of Psychology, Director of Neuroscience Program
- Dr. Erik Brown, Assistant Professor of Health Sciences
As Global Scholars, the recipients of this award will engage in scholarship, curriculum development, and activities related to preparing our students and community for global leadership, citizenry, and success as changemakers. The Global Scholars program is administered by the Center for Innovation & Change.
Dr. Rania Mousa
Professor of Accounting, Mead Johnson Nutrition Endowed Chair in Business
Dr. Mousa will examine the FDIC’s work in using XBRL technology in non-financial sustainability reporting as a means of furthering several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Dr. Vincent Campese
Assistant Professor of Psychology, Director of Neuroscience Program
Dr. Campese will work to strengthen training in the field of Psychology by understanding and addressing treatment impediments in Thailand with the goal of increasing the number of trained Psychologists.
Dr. Erik Brown
Assistant Professor of Health Sciences
Dr. Brown will develop opportunities for faculty in Evansville and India to work together on mental health research. Through work with scholars in the happiness and wellness spaces, he’ll learn about rapid assessment of energy techniques available in India, and bring that knowledge back to UE’s student body.
