International Ambassador Program
The International Ambassador program at UE is designed to help new international students successfully transition and integrate into the campus community. International Ambassadors are current UE students who have undergone specialized training to serve as peer mentors and guides for incoming international students.
As an International Ambassador, new students will be paired with a friendly and knowledgeable peer who can offer guidance on navigating campus resources, understanding academic expectations, and adjusting to life in the United States. Ambassadors provide one-on-one support, facilitate group activities, and organize social events to help international students feel welcomed and empowered to thrive at UE.
Through the International Ambassador program, new international students can build connections, learn about campus and local community customs, and access a network of support to ease their adjustment to the 糖心传媒. This peer mentorship initiative is a valuable resource that exemplifies UE's commitment to supporting the unique needs of its vibrant international student population.

I am from Caracas, Venezuela. I am majoring in Theatre Management. At UE, there are so many opportunities out there for you! Give yourself the chance to meet people, try new things, and grow. I love languages! I am fluent in English and Spanish and am attempting to learn Italian and French. I look forward to learning more about different languages & cultures, and especially meeting new people.
Ryley Hobson
I’m from Richmond, Indiana. I am currently a Freshman Business Managment Major and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies Minor. I will be a sophomore in the 2025-26 year. I am involved with the Undead Poet Society book club, ABLE, and the International club. I also attend most career fairs and UE theater performances. I’m very active on campus but also love to curl up in bed and read a book or play games on my laptop. I LOVE music whether I’m listening, creating or singing/playing it. My favorite parts about UE are the student professor ratio, my classes and all the pretty plants and flowers when it's warm enough. I enjoy making new friends and I’m excited to meet everyone and learn about so many different cultures.
Tosin Ishola
I am from Lagos, Nigeria. I am majoring in Biology (Pre-PA/Pre-Med). UE is a small campus which makes it easy to see the same faces all of the time. Being in a small campus has made it easy to make amazing friends who make college fun. I love UE because of the student to professor ratio. I find it easy to build close relationships with professors and ask for additional help directly from the professor during office hours. As an IA, I look forward to learning about other cultures while helping students acclimate to American culture.
Lucas Jablonski
I am a freshman International Studies major from Seymour, Indiana. I have become very connected with organizations on UE’s campus and I really enjoy the tight-knit community here. UE has amazing professors and a culture centered around each individual student’s success, which has really made me feel at home here. This semester I look forward to helping all international students feel included and respected during their first year at UE.
Garrett Kirby
I was born and raised in Texas, but came to UE from Alaska. I am majoring in Archaeology with a Certificate in Business. One of my favorite things about UE is that it is not just a campus, it is a community. It is large enough that if you really want, you can just blend in - but in my opinion, that's missing half the point of college. I recommend engaging with as many groups as you can. Everybody is super friendly and welcoming, and you are practically guaranteed to make friends and build your skills. UE is a hotspot of good opportunities - you just have to put yourself out there, which is easier than you think. I am looking forward to welcoming international friends into our little American community. I think most UE students are very globally-minded people, and we want to embrace and learn about other cultures beyond our borders. I look forward to sharing my college experience with people from all over the world.
Jacie Minor
I’m a marketing major from Benton, IL. My favorite thing about UE is the small, welcoming community we have here. Outside of being an IA, I’m also involved in Greek life on campus where I serve as the Director of House in my sorority. As an IA, I’m excited to learn about other cultures and help international students feel at home here.
Bree Stultz
I am from Indianapolis, IN, and I’m majoring in Medical Spanish (Pre-Med). UE has given me countless opportunities to get involved with my community and come out of my shell. From small class sizes to extraordinary study abroad experiences, I feel equipped to be a change-maker and push myself out of my comfort zone to grow. My favorite part about UE is the strong relationships I have built with faculty and friends on campus. I can tell that my professors truly want for me to succeed and their faith in me helps me to have faith in myself. UE’s caring culture has been invaluable, and as an IA, I am excited to welcome new students, help them learn to adapt to American culture, and support them in becoming the best version of themselves along the way.
Palak Vyas
I am from Gujarat, India, and I am thrilled to serve as an International Ambassador for the 糖心传媒. I Love UE because I feel welcomed and supported by the incredible staff and professors who are deeply committed to student success. The small class sizes create an intimate learning environment where faculty and staff go above and beyond by offering extra help, career advice, and support. I also love UE’s diverse culture and the opportunities to socialize, which make it easy to feel at home. At UE, students are valued as individuals, and success becomes a shared goal. As an International Ambassador, I am excited to connect with incoming students, share my experiences, and help make their transition to UE as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Evelyn Wickett
I am from Brownsburg, Indiana. I am a Biology (pre-Physician Assistant studies) major and a French language minor. Outside of my main areas of study, you can find me playing my flute in a practice room or at rehearsal for UE Symphony Orchestra. I chose UE because the small size makes it feel personal. There are so many wonderful faculty members here who want to support students and make them feel welcome, and professors are so happy to answer your questions. My favorite part of being an IA is making new friends and learning about everyone’s home cultures. I can’t wait to meet you all!
